Mrs. Fairouz Has been an active IEEE member since the start of her studies at ENIG Student Branch, and was particulary the chairwoman of her Student Branch. Her activity as an IEEE member hasn't stopped in ENIG; she is also a member in IEEE Region8 Humanitarian Activities Sub-Committee as a corresponding member and IEEE Awards as a diversity outreach committee member.
She has as well volunteered for serval positions such as IEEE Tunisia Section SIGHT, IEEE PES Region8 Student Initiatives subcommittee, IEEE Smart Village ambassador and IEEE PES day ambassador.

Mr. Khaled MOKHTAR is an IEEE Senior Member with many global volunteering roles. He is actually a manager of Emerging Technologies & Innovation at Etisalat. Mr. Khaled MOKHTAR has volunteered for the Educational Activities Board CPC, he is also a member of the IEEE Engagement Committee, member of the IEEE Region 8 Conferences Coordination.
Our dear guest has also been the Vice Chairman for the Egypt YP and has won the 1st Exceptional Volunteer Award in R8 !

Our speaker is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA Engineer) at NeoXam Tunisia.
As an IEEE member, Mariem has a quite interesting CV. She has been an active member in IEEE her student branch ENET’Com as a secretary and also the chairwoman of the IEEE ENET'Com Women in Engineering Student Affinity Group.
Her passion for WIE has grown during that time, as she’s now the chairwoman Chairwoman of IEEE Women In Engineering Tunisia Affinity Group.

Mr. Seif is an industrial engineer graduated from the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT) and actually a SAP Functional Consultant at WYNSYS. His range of impact covers many and various fields in the industrial sector since our dear speaker is the chair of IEEE IAS Tunisia Section Chapter.
As a past chair in IEEE ENIT Student Branch, his love for IEEE quickly grew and made him volunteer more and more for IEEE. In fact, he is also the Vice Chair of IEEE Young Professionals Tunisia and a Young professionals Subcommittee Member in region 8.

In just two years, she was selected to take part in the team of women in power representatives as the IEEE PES women in power north Africa representative which allowed her to take part in many activities for the WiP initiative and even had the honor of representing Women in Power during the WIE International Leadership Summit, Tunis.

Ms. Ikram has graduated from the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology of Sousse (ISSAT Sousse) and received the Research Master degrees in Pervasive Intelligent Systems. Her current research interests include Computational Intelligence, Evolutionary Algorithms, Bio-inspired Algorithms, Internet of Things, and Robotics. She has been an active IEEE member and volunteer since 2014 when she established the IEEE Student Branch at ISSAT Sousse and has served in many IEEE volunteer positions including IEEE Day Ambassador, IEEEXtreme Ambassador and in the PES Renewable Energy in Schools (RES) Project. Our dear speaker has served as Region 8 RAS SAC member from 2014-2016. Currently, Ikram serves as Treasurer of IEEE RAS Tunisia Chapter. Ikram was the IEEE RAS Regional (R8) Student Representative. Recently, she is appointed to serve as IEEE Nominations and Appointments (N&A) Committee Member for 2018, she is currently serving as the IEEE RAS SAC co-Chair and Tunisia SAC chair.

Mohamed El Dallal has since been able to turn his passions into reality through various projects. He is a serial Entrepreneur currently the Co-founder and CEO of "Innovideas LLC. for Marketing & Advertising". Co-founder of" Dcodes LLC. for software solutions", and Co-founder and board member of "Techne Summit", a yearly international conference aimed at supporting and encouraging technological entrepreneurship in Egypt. Earning his BSc degree - Computer & Communication Engineering-, MBA holder specialized in International Business, a researcher in the digital marketing field. Mohamed is also an avid volunteer, participating with several NGOs, project and youth initiatives both inside and outside of Egypt since 2009. He is currently a Global Shaper –an initiative from world economic forum-, Member of Egyptian junior business association (EJB), Rotarian as well as an IEEE Young Professionals Vice Chair and IEEE Region 8 Professional and Educational Activities member.

Oussema is a Telecommunication Engineer.
Oussema was an active IEEE member in IEEE ENIT Student Branch as he he was the tresaurer, the human resources director and the chairman of IEEE Power and Energy Society Chapter.
He also volunteered in serval IEEE positions such as TSYP 2018 ambassador, Student ambassador at IEEE Power & Energy Society Humanitarian Activities Committee - PES HAC, Brand Ambassador at IEEE...
As for now, Oussema is is the coordinator of the IEEE Tunisia SAC - Student Activities Committee, and is contributing in the TSYP challenges !

Ilhem Kallel is an A. Professor with the Department of Computer Science Engineering in ISIMS, and a researcher with Regim-Lab in ENIS (university of Sfax-Tunisia). She received the PhD degree in Computer Systems Engineering in 2009 from ENIS. Since 1988, Ilhem had many leadership positions and a rich professional experience dealing with developing and managing enterprise information systems within an industrial company, teaching fields of computer science and training of teachers. Her research interests are mainly in collective and hybrid intelligence, pedagogical innovation in education, intelligent multirobot systems, fuzzy modeling, swarm intelligence, multiagent systems, and systems’ quality assessment. Our dear guest was the founder and the past chairwoman of IEEE Tunisia Women In Engineering an volunteered for many other positions in IEEE. He has more than thirty years experience in Higher Education and Research.

Almedin Is an experienced engineer with a history of working in the power & energy industry. He has a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, with a focus on helping young people to understand the startup ecosystem and motivating them to make their first step.
Our speaker in an electrical engineer who graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo and works as an operations manager in TSCNET Services GmbH at Germany.
In term of IEEE volunteering, Almedin had a quite impressive experience as he was a membership development officer at IEEE IAS SBC, the Student Branch chair of University of Sarajevo.
He’s currently the chair of YP AG of Bosnia and Herzegovina section.

Mr. Adel M. Alimi was born in Sfax, Tunisia, in 1966. He is serving as IEEE Tunisia Section Chair. He received the Degree in electrical engineering in 1990, the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Polytechnic University of Montréal in 1995, and the HDR degree in electrical and computer engineering from the National Engineering School of Sfax in 2000.
He is currently a Professor of electrical and computer engineering in the University of Sfax. His current research interests include applications of intelligent methods (neural networks, fuzzy logic, and evolutionary algorithms) to pattern recognition, robotic systems, vision systems, industrial processes, intelligent pattern recognition, learning, analysis, and intelligent control of large-scale complex systems.
Dr. Alimi is a member of IAPR, INNS, and PRS. He is a member and an Associate Editor of the Editorial Board of many international scientific journals, including Pattern Recognition Letters, Neurocomputing, Neural Processing Letters, International Journal of Image and Graphics, Neural Computing and Applications, International Journal of Robotics and Automation, and International Journal of Systems Science.
Mr. Adel received the outstanding Award for the establishment project of the IEEE Tunisia Section, 2008 and is currently the IEEE Tunisia Section chair.

Mr. Habib Kammoun is an IEEE Graduate Student from 2006 and an IEEE Member from 2012 received a M.Sc. and then PhD degree both in computer science in 2005 and 2015 respectively, from the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS).
He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Sciences – University of Sfax, Tunisia. He is member of the REGIM-Lab. (Research Groups in Intelligent Machines), University of Sfax.
His research interests include Intelligent Systems, Multi-Agent Modeling and Simulation, Fuzzy Logic, Ant Colony Optimization, Reinforcement Learning, Vehicle Route Guidance System, Road Traffic Simulation.
Mr. Habib is a program committee member within several international conferences. He served as IEEE Tunisia Section Chair, and he is currently IEEE MGA N&A Committee Member, IEEE R8 N&A Committee Member and IEEE Africa Council Secretary.

Alaa is a software engineer at STMicroelectronics . He was born in Monastir, Tunisia and perused his electrical engineering studies at the National Engineering School of Monastir, where he served as the chair of his IEEE Student Branch.
In terms of leadership growth, Alaa served as an IEEEXtreme programming competition country leader, he was selected as Membership Engagement manager within the IEEE PELS day executive board and he served as digest reviewer in IEEE ITEC 2019.
His 4 years of dedication within IEEE lead him to be elected as IEEE Tunisia Section Student Representative.

Abdullateef has over 14 years of experience working in the information and communication technology (ICT) /Telecommunication industry focusing on providing broadband services to the urban and rural areas in Nigeria and across West Africa; he heads the infrastructure roll-out and deployment department in Phase 3 telecom. He is an experienced Project Management Professional (PMP) with a B.Eng. (Electrical Engineering) from Bayero University Kano, a master of information and communication technology from Northern University of Malaysia, and a Certified Business Analysis Professional. He comes with competence and hands-on experience spanning network operations management, process re-engineering, program/project management, service assurance, technical leadership that include and not limited to GPON, fiber optics cable deployment (terrestrial and Aerial), DWDM, Microwave, Broadband and IP/MPLS. Previous positions held include Head of Enterprise department, Regional head of Operation and manager of business solutions at Suburban, and Research assistant at SerindIT Malaysia. He is an active volunteer of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Nigeria Section, an Industry Ambassador and the Past Chair of the IEEE Young Professionals AG Nigeria Section. Abdullateef is an Alumni of the United State Telecommunication Institute (USTTI), Washington DC, USA. He has acquired certificate on Six Sigma –White, Yellow and Green Belt. Azza Ouled Zaid currently works at the Higher Institute of Computer Science. Azza makes her research studies at the SysCom Laboratory of the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT) in Tunisia. Her research interests focus on Image and Video Coding, Image Scrambling and Watermarking, Standards and Image Indexing. Her most recent publication is 'HDR image compression with optimized JPEG coding.
Azza is an active IEEE member as she is an IEEE Region 8 Membership Development Sub-Committee corresponding member for the past 3 years, a coordinator of smart affiliate city (an IEEE Smart Cities Initiative) and an active IEEE WIE AG member.

Salim is a Software Engineer, Graduated from the Private Higher School of Engineering and Technology (ESPRIT). Currently, he is working since 2018 as a Software Engineer in Veamly, a Silicon-Valley based startup.
He attended and volunteered in various IEEE events and conferences, currently volunteering as Student Branches coordinator within Tunisia Section ExCom Student Activities Committee - SAC, and is contributing to the TSYP challenges.
He served various executive positions in NGOs in Tunisia, and He was a founding member of IEEE ESPRIT Student Branch back in 2017. He served as IEEE ESPRIT Computer Society SBC Chair, IEEE ESPRIT IAS and PES SBC Vice Chair (2018 – 2019).

Mohamed-Slim Alouini was born in Tunis, Tunisia. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Pasadena, CA, USA, in 1998. He served as a Faculty Member with the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, Texas A&M University at Qatar, Doha, Qatar. In 2009, he joined the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, as a Professor of electrical engineering. His current research interests include the modeling, design, and performance analysis of wireless communication systems. He has published several papers on the above subjects and he is co-author of the textbook Digital Communication over Fading Channels published by Wiley Interscience. He has also won several awards in his career. For instance, he was honored in 2017 with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Science and Technology (S&T) Achievement Award in Engineering Science at the First OIC Summit on Science and Technology, Astana, Kazakhstan. Prior to this, he received the 2016 Recognition Award of the IEEE Communication Society Wireless Technical Committee and the 2016 Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Arab Researchers in Engineering Sciences.

Mr. Nadhem is an IEEE Member, graduated from the University of Sfax in 2000. He's a doctorant in accounting.
In 2011, he founded NTraining, a training company involved with engineering management. Nadhem has consulted with corporations as Petrofac, Tunisiana Orascom, OMV, and L’EPI D’OR. Nadhem has worked internationally at JCI since 2004 as a trainer designer and has presented different trainings as Leadership, team management, and strategic planning in different countries as Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Senegal.
He published a book on 2010 written in French entitled “Keys of Success, I will be efficient”. Nadhem has served as President of the Union Chamber of Training, Studies and Consulting at the UTICA Sfax and he is the founder of the Professional Community MAWARED RH.

Donia Amami is an embedded software engineer, she graduated from the national engineering school of Gabes, in electrical and automatic major. She is currently an IEEE graduate member within IEEE ENIT Student Branch. She is serving as a Treasurer of PES Tunisia Section. She is an active IEEE member with various and appreciated volunteering. She started her IEEE student membership in 2016, where she served as the PES ENIG SBC chairwoman and WIE Affinity group ENIG SB vice chairwoman. She is also a member in different other technical societies like IAS, PES, PELS and EMBS alongside various IEEE disciplinary societies. She volunteered as an ambassador for many events and competitions, IEEE Brand, IEEE Day 2018, PES Day 2018, MadC 2018, IEEE PES HAC, and PES Zero Hunger Day of IEEE Tunisia Section SIGHT Group. As well as many international events such as WIE ILS Porto, WIE ILS Tunisia, Rising Stars USA. She, with her team, won the second prize of the CMD Humanitarian Project contest for their project “Ecol’ lo Irrigation System” during the IAS Annual Meeting 2018, Portland, USA. She is also the winner of the second Prize of PES Green Entrepreneur Competition during the PES Student Congress 2018, Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. She is dedicated to spreading the knowledge about IEEE to everyone and saw this as an opportunity to carry on her work as volunteering woman engineer.

Ali Alfayly is a doctorant in computer science from the university of Plymouth in England.
He served as a network engineer in the Central Bank of Kuwait and is currently an Assistant Professor in The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training.
Since 2017, Mr. Ali has has managed to acquire a rich IEEE experience as he has been the YP AG chair since then.

Mohamed Amin is a software engineer at Cognica.
Mohamed graduated from ENSI (Ecole Nationale des Sciences de l'informatique) on 2019 after a rich experience at ENSI Student Branch.
He was the ENSI Student Branch chair on 2017-2018 and the CIS Tunisia Chapter's treasurer.
Apart from his IEEE expereince , he was an active certified instructor in Go My Code during 2019.

Mehdi disposes of a bachelor's degree in Business, management, marketing and related support services and a master's degree in tourism and hotels management from Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Carthage (IHEC Carthage).
He has gained experience as an Administrative Assistant in Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale in Italy from 2011 and 2017.
Now, he's a Cultural Affairs Specialist at U.S departement of State.

Yousri KESSENTINI graduated in Computer Science engineering from the National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS) in 2003 and received his Ph.D. degree in the field of pattern recognition from the University of Rouen, France in 2009.
He was postdoctoral researcher at ITESOFT company and LITIS laboratory from 2011 to 2013. Currently he is an Assistant Professor at CRNS and the head of the DeepVision research team. His main research areas concern deep learning, document processing, data fusion, and computer vision. In 2018, he has been awarded an NVIDIA GPU Grant for his deep learning research activities. He is also certified as an official NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute instructor and ambassador in 2018. He has coordinate several research projects in partnership with industry. He is the author and co-author of several papers and has been a reviewer for international conferences and journals.

Nizar Rokbani, is an assist Prof of Industrial Computing with Institute of Applied Science and technology of Sousse, Tunisia Since 2014. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis, ENIT in 1995. He obtained a Master degree in industrial computing in 2003 from the National Engineering School of Sfax, ENIS, and a PHD in Electrical Engineering in 2013. He was an automation & process engineer until 1998, he was then a technologic trainer at the institute of technological studies of Gabes, occupied a post of training adviser engineer at the national agency of vocational training from 2003 to 2006. Since 2006, he was back to university as assistant lecturer at the universities of Gabes and Sousse and conducted his research within the research group on intelligent machines, REGIM-Lab, National Eng school of Sfax.
